According to the Pathe news reel produced for the Lansdowne 1960/61 Jamboree, the 15,000 scouts in attendance ate through 12 miles of sausages, 10 tonnes of fruitcake and drank half a million bottles of soft drink.

So here's a glorious vintage 1960 teatowel, stowed perfectly until repurposed by us to celebrate that they were still able to manage 15000 good deeds daily.

In pristine vintage condition, its the perfect gift for your scout loving '60 or '61 or even your Dad, husband, bestie who was one of the fruitcake eaters and good deeds do'er.

Size: fits a 50x50cm cushion insert, not included

Fabric: Original vintage linen teatowel reversed with linen, fixed with an invisible zip closure. Original teatowel is unused and in pristine lovely vintage condition

Care: cold machine wash, dry in shade. Do not tumble dry.
