A unique Edinburgh cushion cover handmade from an original 1950s–60s vintage linen teatowel.
A gorgeously pastel sparse, mid-century view across to Edinburgh Castle and Castle Rock, with Routemaster buses and period vehicles, alongside landmarks including the Scott Monument, Princes Street Gardens, the Royal Mile and neoclassical gallery buildings.
Reversed with a contrasting vintage linen teatowel featuring flying cupcakes for a tasty finish.
This is one of the most beautiful linens I've handled. The delicate colours, the grass of the parklands against a pastel cloud peppered blue sky, the colours of the 50s vehicles and the gorgeous Edinburgh vista are a completely exquisite mix. If you can gift it on (I can hardly bear to part with it) - it would be a perfect gift for anyone who loves Scotland, Edinburgh or unique vintage linens
Size: 60 x 60 cm.
Fabric: original authentic vintage linen with natural signs of age.
