Brisbane by night vintage teatowel cushion cover

When I was a Brisbane lassie, the highlight of school holidays was a visit to see my dad who worked in the old State Executive building on George Street. this not only meant a skip past the black cat cafe and possibly a milkshake in the Coles cafeteria, it also meant a visit to the tank of penny turtles on the wonderful broad verandah outside his breezy office.

This sensational linen makes my nostalgia loving heart skip. A film roll of spectacular Brisbane sights by night on one side, a map of WA on reverse, repurposed into a bed pillow sized cover.

The city hall, Story Bridge, Executive Building, Centenary Pool (oh, that wonderful indian restaurant) the Treasury and the William Jolly bridge. A bevvy of Brissie beauties.

Size: fits a standard bed pillow: 45 x 60 cm (not included)

Care: cold machine wash, dry in shade. Do not tumble dry. Press while damp
